Lambeth Community Care Centre

Lambeth Community Care Centre’s garden is a blooming example of how gifts have helped transform an inner city healthcare centre into an oasis of respite and comfort for local inpatients and day visitors.

Jeff James, Centre Administrator at Lambeth Community Care Centre said: "The garden makes such a difference to our patients. They can get out in the fresh air and walk among the hedges and flowering plants. It helps the Centre feel a little more like home. We are always grateful for the donations that enable us to keep the garden flourishing."

The Charity has recently assumed management of the Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Charitable Fund, a registered charity that held donations and legacies to support the three PCTs. The PCT Fund is a combination of donations for the general benefit of the three PCTs.

Ruth Bishop, Special Purpose Funds Manager, said: “People often want to support a particular health centre or service to say thanks for the care they have received, or in recognition of the care provided to a relative. By supporting the PCT Fund people can help to make the experience of patients better now and in the future.”
