When Wendy Williams' daughter, Sarah, started her placement as a student nurse at the Evelina, she read about fundraising on our website. On further investigation Wendy spotted the Mongolia Horse Trek information. It was no contest - combining a love horses with an adventure and raising money for a fantastic hospital - she signed up. On sturdy Mongolian horses, Wendy and fellow tour group members rode 200km through the remote valleys of the Khangai Mountains of Central Mongolia, witnessing the traditional lifestyle of the Khalkh Mongols. Wendy said: "It was amazing - the challenges were quite different from those I expected. I would recommend it to anyone!" Wendy’s unusual challenge raised £677.
