A tradition of caring
A gift in your will to Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity will help us provide care for tomorrow’s patients. For almost 900 years Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has been supporting the local community and providing specialist services for people from further afield. Many of the people who have been cared for by our dedicated medical and nursing staff have been generous enough to leave a gift in their will to ensure that our work continues for future generations.
Today the Trust continues to provide high quality, innovative care to the local community with an underlying philosophy of putting patients at the centre of everything it does.
If you or a member of your family have been cared for at Guy’s or St Thomas' why not help us care for others in the future by leaving a gift to Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity in your Will? Any amount, large or small, will be put to excellent use.
The greatest gift of all
One generous legacy left to the Genetics Centre purchased a laboratory robot to test patients with different types of muscular dystrophy for the genetic causes of their disorder.
Another patient wanted to give something back to St Thomas’ Hospital after receiving treatment for skin cancer. By leaving a gift in her Will, the Clinical Oncology Department purchased a highly specialised piece of radiotherapy equipment enabling future generations of patients diagnosed with skin cancer to be treated.
