Masked crusaders
Borough Bar, London Bridge hosted its first charity fundraising event to raise £871 for Guys Hospital. The Masquerade Ball started with sophistication and elegance with guests sipping on fine champagne and hand made canapés. The bar was transformed for one night into a beautiful medieval castle complete with its own Court jester and King Henry VIII entertaining our royal guests as they arrived.
The chocolate fountain was an irresistible temptation for the chocoholics within the castle and the deluxe raffle, made possible by contributions from local businesses in the area, contributed greatly towards funds.
Much merriment continued into the wee hours, way past the witching hour as DJ Dan, king of tunes played an array of party shaking anthems to the delight of the merry men and women.
Management team Lee, Julie and Pauline said: "The fancy dress that everyone arrived in was outstanding and we were impressed by the huge effort made by all our guests. We hope our next event will be just as amazing."
