Charity Fashion Show

Guy’s nurse Nellie Daura organised a celebrity fashion show to raise awareness of eating disorders.

Channel 4's 3 Girls In A Boat Comediennes Charity Trimm and Anne-Marie Draycott hosted Astrid: Divinely Beautiful, which showcased up-and-coming local designers whose clothes were modelled by regular sized nurses from Guy's and St Thomas'.

At the same time as raising money for beat, the UK's leading eating disorders charity, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, the event aimed to raise awareness of eating disorders, how to identify them and where to get help.

The fashion show was anti size 0, with regular sized models helping to send the message that we should keep a healthy perspective of our body weight.

The audience were treated to a sneak preview of designs from the collections from Joy (Bankside) London, Sky and Chipo on the catwalk.
