Mental health screening for Southwark children who are looked after

Project intentions: Funding will help to provide a pilot service that examines the mental health of children a few months after they are taken into care, in order to check whether they need additional help in coping better at home and in school. The project aims to prevent the development of mental illness in a high risk group and potentially reduce the workload of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in the longer term.
