Project intentions: To support a three year programme of environmental improvements at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals.
Results:
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has seen is a major facelift, with improvements to the experience of patients, visitors and staff to Guy's and St Thomas'.
Face has funded capital schemes, such as refurbishing reception areas, public spaces and main entrances.
A rest area at St Thomas'
A more intuitive approach to finding places in the hospitals has been developed using maps, colour, sound, floor numbering, electronic signage and art, reflecting the diverse needs of the visitors and staff using the hospital.
The project will ensure that waiting and reception areas are much cleaner, as well as training and supporting staff to give a customer-based approach to serving the public who visit the hospital.
