New Finance & Development Director appointed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity

Guy's and St Thomas' Charity, has appointed David Renton as its Finance and Development Director.

He joins the Charity from Hawkpoint Partners, a leading independent corporate finance firm, where he was a Managing Director and member of the leadership team for many years.

David is appointed to a newly created role following a fundamental review of the Charity's strategy with a new and added focus as a strategic investor and creative financier in healthcare change and innovation.

David will have overall responsibility for the Charity's finance, investment and property and estates strategy.

David Renton, Finance and Development Director said: "At a time of obvious public sector financial constraint, I look forward to doing all I can to ensure that the Charity's financial and other assets are managed to maximum effect for healthcare innovation. This is an enormously exciting time to be joiningthe Charity."
