Supporting carers during Dementia Awareness Week

Carers for people with dementia can speak to someone with first-hand experience of the condition, thanks to a new volunteer peer support service from the Modernisation Initiative End of Life Care Programme. Staff will be meeting carers on Thursday (8) as part of Dementia Awareness Week (4 July to 10 July) and explaining how they can prepare for the future.

The AMBER care bundle created by the Modernisation Initiative End of Life Care Programme is named in the National End of Life Care Programme guide published today (June 29).
