The Charity owns a variety of buildings and land,
partly on or close to the Guy's and St Thomas' hospital sites. It
deploys some of these property holdings for commercial purposes,
some for healthcare purposes, in the latter case also seeking to
maximise financial returns.
The property and estates strategy aims to ensure that the
property portfolio assets are protected and enhanced and that
development opportunities are fully exploited.
We liaise closely with the capital and estates teams at Guy's
and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and King's College London to
ensure that our estates strategy best meets future health service
and medical school needs.
