Barbara dedicates her career to tackling social, economic and health inequity.
As Programme Director at Impact on Urban Health, her ambition is to make cities healthier places to live for renters, workers, and people on modest incomes. She wants minoritised people to have a fairer chance to experience good health.
Previously, she improved frontline healthcare in Africa and Asia as Director of Evidence to Action at Marie Stopes International, enabling the delivery of sexual and reproductive services. Her background spans philanthropy, international development, business, social enterprise and applied social sciences.
In her spare time, she is a passionate Londoner and admirer of all the great things the city offers.
