How to apply for funding and support from us for your idea or project.
If you have an idea that is in line with our mission, we want to hear from you.
We seek new ideas from everyone from senior executives to front-line staff from NHS acute Trusts to GPs, local government, social entrepreneurs, third sector organisations or private companies.
We provide funding to enable and stimulate radical innovation in health and healthcare delivery. We are interested in hearing your ideas for how innovation in healthcare can make a real difference.
Although we support ideas coming from all parts of the NHS and beyond, we have an especially close relationship with our historic partner Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Routes to apply for funding
Bringing sexual health online
One third of people attending sexual health clinics could potentially self-manage their condition. Fully integrated within existing local NHS services, we are supporting SH:24 with funding for 3 years to improve access to sexual health services by offering easy and 24/7 testing for sexually transmitted infections and information. Testing kits are ordered online, the test is carried out at home and posted back and the results are sent confidentially via text message. The service is working to increase the number of people tested for STIs and free up capacity in clinics.
In 2015/16 we provided £11.7 million in grants and other funding.
We supported hundreds of new ideas and health improvements in our area and partnered with clinicians from our local hospitals and community health services, academics, social entrepreneurs and voluntary organisations.
