In the UK, schools are often in direct control over at least one meal per day for the children in their care. They also operate as small systems in themselves – often being well connected in their community, with strong links to children's services and local families.
By supporting schools to make changes to their environment, we aim to create spaces where children are encouraged to eat better and exercise more.
We are doing this by working with local schools and organisations working in schools on a range of activities through our School strand, including:
31 July, 2018
A partnership taking action to change the environments in the capital that promote poor nutrition and little movement

Our work tackling child obesity in the street environment
