We help identify and act on key issues in health and care, working with others to achieve radical, lasting change in Lambeth and Southwark.
Involved in all aspects of health and with a range of partners, we work to achieve radical, lasting change for people who live, work and are treated in Lambeth and Southwark.
We are an independent charitable foundation dedicated to excellence in health and care in our local area. Our long history and our assets empower us to respond to the many healthcare demands of today and invest in the health of future generations.
We are a catalyst for health and healthcare improvement in Lambeth and Southwark. We support innovation in order to create world-leading healthcare in Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust; to improve the physical and mental health of the local population; and to fulfil the vision of King’s Health Partners.
We work with others who also strive to improve health and healthcare, and we have an especially close relationship with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
We help identify and act on key health and care issues. Our current focus is on three major priorities:
We provide grants, loans and other forms of investment to support innovative ideas for improving healthcare delivery, and ultimately people's health.
Our key roles
We work in a range of ways:
We want to make a tangible difference and create better health and healthcare for those who live, work and are treated in Lambeth and Southwark. In order to do this we ensure that we learn from what we invest our time and money in, and measure and evaluate the impact it has.
Really understanding how health transformation happens is vital to us, as we aim to drive radical improvements in health services. We set clear and realistic long- and medium-term goals for our activities, and identify the causal links between what we do and our anticipated outcomes. This provides a framework to help us to continuously test, reflect and improve on the impact we are making.
