We wanted to get to know the people in Lambeth and Southwark better and understand how they think and feel about their health. So we went out and talked to them.
We're committed to improving the health and healthcare of people who live, work and are treated in Lambeth and Southwark. To do this effectively, we need to understand what health means to them.
So we went out and asked them how they thought and felt about their health and care, what challenged them to be healthy and who they thought had ultimate responsibility for people's wellbeing.
As part of our work with a specialist agency, we collected short interviews on the streets and held in-depth interviews with 30 people. We're using the insights to stimulate forward-thinking.
We asked people what good health means to them, and this is what they told us.
