The Committee’s experience provides a number of unique perspectives to our childhood obesity programme. This includes members from social enterprise, school, public health, corporate and philanthropic backgrounds, all with experience working to support children and young people.
Sally Tennant is the founder of Acorn Capital Advisers, an independent wealth adviser. She is Chair of Style Analytics, the portfolio analytics company, a Director of Waypoint Capital, and a Director of Canaccord Genuity. She was previously Chief Executive of Lombard Odier (UK) Ltd and Chief Executive of Schroders Private Banking. Sally is a patron of Tommy’s the Baby Charity.
Rosie has been Chair of the London Food Board since 2008. She is a Trustee of Feeding Britain and The Food Foundation, and a patron of Sustain. Rosie has written extensively on food poverty, obesity and the relationship between food and climate change.
Andy joined Impetus PEF as Chief Executive in 2016. His career has focused on two issues: tackling poverty and educational disadvantage; and making government work better. As Deputy Chief Executive of the Africa Governance Initiative he helped build a global charity working with African governments to strengthen their capacity to tackle deep-rooted poverty.
Dr Ingrid Wolfe is qualified in both children's medicine (paediatrics) and public health. As Director of the Evelina London Child Health Partnership, she is leading the development and evaluation of a new model of children’s everyday healthcare in south London.
Phil has a track record of creating and scaling high impact, sustainable strategies and programmes in local communities. He currently sits on the Public Health England National Child Measurement Programme Board, and speaks regularly at conferences and events including BBC Breakfast.
Judith, Director of Sainsbury's brand, is responsible for all aspects of its product offer, from Policy formation through to Product Technology, Development, Safety, and Packaging. She has worked in the food and drink industry for 35 years and is a Biochemist, a Registered Nutritionist and Scientist.
Henry started his career at the Michelin-starred Four Seasons Inn on the Park. He co-founded the Leon fast food chain and was a Founding Director of the Sustainable Restaurant Association. He co-wrote The School Food Plan and recently co-founded the charity, Chefs in Schools. He's the lead non-executive director at DEFRA.
Kevin is the Director for Health and Wellbeing at the London Borough of Southwark. In this role, which incorporates the statutory functions of the Director for Public Health, he works across the entire Council to champion and promote health, wellbeing, sustainability and equity in all policies and programmes.
Lucy Saunders is a Consultant in Public Health specialising in transport, public realm and planning. She developed the Healthy Streets Approach™ and indicators and leads on the integration of transport and public health in London supporting Transport for London, boroughs and advocacy organisations.
