Do you work in a digital or technology role? Are you interested in applying your experience to some of the major health challenges facing London in the 21st Century?
We’re looking to provide a 6-12 month secondment for individuals from a digital and technology background to work as a Portfolio Manager (Digital Lead) in our Funding Team.
The secondment will focus on strengthening the use of digital and technology throughout our programmes – from advising the team on start-up digital health ventures through to helping us design partnerships with major government and corporate partners to tackle childhood obesity.
We’re aiming to identify candidates for a start date towards the end of summer/early autumn. There is no closing date for applications, although we may close it any time after the beginning of July depending on interest in the opportunity.
At Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, we believe primary and secondary school environments can have a significant impact on children’s health and weight. As a result, we are working with social enterprise Evolve to test the role of health mentors in schools in tackling child obesity in primary schools across Southwark. We are looking to appoint an evaluation and learning partner to conduct an independent outcome and process evaluation during the pilot year of Project HE:RO in Southwark between July 2019 and August 2020.
For more information on the project, please see our tender pack. Potential partners should confirm that they will be submitting a proposal by Friday 14th June 2019 by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. After this, partners should submit a short brief of no more than 8 pages on how you would approach this project by Wednesday 3rd July 2019. Up to £70,000 (including VAT and expenses) has been budgeted for this work over the course of the pilot year.
